Our team members must have the ability to work in diverse settings, including international and multi-cultural environments. They must be outstanding communicators, leaders, and team players. The bottom-line: our team must have the talent, skills, and personality to achieve significant results for our clients and constituents. We set a high bar when recruiting new talent. Those who successfully complete the process and are asked to join the firm are team members we want to retain and develop for the long term. By tying attractive compensation to performance, creating a stimulating environment, and promoting a positive work culture, we help to ensure the retention of these valuable team members. Roles at BroadReach BroadReach Healthcare accepts applications on a continual basis for Analysts, Associates, and Directors in the company’s Washington, DC corporate office and at its domestic, international, and program sites. BroadReach recruits for all of its businesses and divisions within this single portal, and posts both corporate opportunities as well as those specific to a particular business. Within BroadReach’s Global Health business, we also urge independent consultants and technical experts interested in staffing fixed—or short-term engagements around the world to submit an application, creating a profile in our staffing database. We are interested in candidates of all nationalities and especially candidates living in developing nations and emerging markets. Although specific positions may not currently be available, staffing needs arise quickly based on bidding on international tenders and the awarding of new contracts. We value having candidates in our applicant pool, and at times we will contact applicants on short notice about positions. If you do not see a specific open position aligned with your qualifications and interests, please consider submitting your resume or an application for an “ongoing posting” position. Analysts are exceptional, talented individuals
who share the company’s goal of applying business solutions to global
healthcare opportunities and challenges. Analysts typically possess
a Bachelor’s degree and have sound analytical, problem-solving, and
interpersonal skills.

Associates are accomplished individuals who share the profile of Analysts in terms of goals and skills, but typically possess a Master’s degree in areas such as business or public health. Associates have several years of relevant work experience in fields such as management consulting, healthcare, and international development. Directors are dedicated thought leaders who share the profile of Associates in terms of goals and skills; often they have completed additional university degrees. All Directors have significant relevant work experience, including leadership positions in the private sector along with expertise in healthcare and management. Independent Consultants and Technical Experts have demonstrated a commitment to global health and have succeeded in achieving tangible results in developing countries and emerging markets. These staff members are often bid on overseas assignments, which can range in duration from months to years. Consultants and technical experts come from countries all over the world, have at least a university degree and often advanced degrees, possess relevant consulting, management or health content expertise, often have held overseas positions working in public health or international development, and often speak multiple languages. Internships are offered to a limited number of talented individuals. The aim of both our domestic and international internship programs is to provide candidates with a unique work experience to supplement their academic training and explore a potential career in healthcare with BroadReach. Successful candidates have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution toward pressing healthcare issues. To maximize the impact of project funding, internship support is rarely budgeted; instead, funding for internships is often secured by candidates from external sources. |
